About Quiz
To commemorate 150 years of India’s timeless national song, Vande Mataram and to promote greater awareness of its historical, cultural, and patriotic significance, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens and students to participate in the “Vande Mataram: 150 Years Quiz”. This quiz aims to educate participants about the origins of the song, its place in Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Anandamath, its powerful role in the freedom struggle, and its enduring impact on India’s national identity.
Through this quiz, participants will explore the literary beauty, symbolic depth, and inspirational legacy of Vande Mataram, while fostering a deeper sense of respect, pride, and emotional connection with India’s cultural heritage.

Gratification:
(i) The First Prize winner will receive ₹25,000/-
(ii) The Second Prize winner will receive ₹15,000/-
(iii) The Third prize winner will receive ₹10,000/-
(iv) Additionally, the remaining Top 150 winners will each receive a reward of ₹3,000/-
(v) All participants will be awarded an e-certificate.
भारत के अमर राष्ट्रीय गीत वंदे मातरम् के 150 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में, तथा इसके ऐतिहासिक, सांस्कृतिक और राष्ट्रभक्ति से जुड़े महत्व के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से, संस्कृति मंत्रालय एवं MyGov नागरिकों और विद्यार्थियों को “वंदे मातरम् – 150 वर्ष क्विज़” में भाग लेने के लिए आमंत्रित करता हैं।
इस क्विज़ का उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों को वंदे मातरम् के उद्भव, बंकिम चंद्र चट्टोपाध्याय के आनंदमठ में इसकी भूमिका, आज़ादी के आंदोलन में इसकी प्रबल प्रेरक शक्ति, तथा भारत की राष्ट्रीय पहचान पर इसके स्थायी प्रभाव के बारे में शिक्षित करना है।
इस क्विज़ के माध्यम से प्रतिभागी वंदे मातरम् की साहित्यिक सुंदरता, उसके प्रतीकात्मक अर्थों की गहराई, और उसकी प्रेरणादायी विरासत का अन्वेषण करेंगे—साथ ही भारत की सांस्कृतिक धरोहर के प्रति सम्मान, गर्व और भावनात्मक जुड़ाव की गहरी भावना को आत्मसात करेंगे।

पुरस्कार
(i) प्रथम पुरस्कार विजेता को ₹25,000/- प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
(ii) द्वितीय पुरस्कार विजेता को ₹15,000/- प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
(iii) तृतीय पुरस्कार विजेता को ₹10,000/- प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
(iv) इसके अतिरिक्त, शीर्ष 150 शेष विजेताओं में से प्रत्येक को ₹3,000/- का पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा।
(v) सभी प्रतिभागियों को ई-प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. The quiz is open to all Indian citizens. / यह क्विज़ सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
2. The quiz will begin immediately once the participant clicks on ‘Play Quiz’. / प्रतिभागी द्वारा ‘Play Quiz’ पर क्लिक करते ही क्विज़ तुरंत शुरू हो जाएगा।
3. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा की गई एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएँगी।
4. Participants must ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and up to date, as the Ministry of Culture and MyGov will use this information for all communication. Incomplete, incorrect, or missing information at any stage may lead to cancellation of the participant’s entry. / प्रतिभागियों को सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि उनका माईगव प्रोफ़ाइल सही और अपडेटेड हो, क्योंकि संस्कृति मंत्रालय और माईगव संचार हेतु इसी जानकारी का उपयोग करेंगे। किसी भी चरण में अधूरी, गलत या अनुपलब्ध जानकारी प्रतिभागी की प्रविष्टि को निरस्त कर सकती है।
5. Any use of unfair means or malpractice—such as impersonation, multiple participation, or any other spurious activity—will lead to automatic disqualification. The Ministry of Culture and MyGov, or any agency authorized on their behalf, reserve the right to take necessary action. / प्रतिरूपण, एकाधिक भागीदारी, या किसी भी प्रकार की अनुचित गतिविधि जैसी अनैतिक विधियों के उपयोग पर प्रतिभागी स्वतः अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया जाएगा। संस्कृति मंत्रालय और MyGov, या उनके द्वारा अधिकृत कोई एजेंसी, आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का अधिकार रखती है।
6. Employees directly or indirectly involved in organising the quiz, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. / क्विज़ के आयोजन में प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से शामिल कर्मचारी तथा उनके निकट परिजन भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं हैं।
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Ministry of Culture and MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions, modify the rules, or cancel the quiz at any time, as deemed necessary. / किसी भी अप्रत्याशित परिस्थिति में, संस्कृति मंत्रालय और MyGov आवश्यकतानुसार नियम एवं शर्तों में संशोधन, बदलाव या क्विज़ को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
8. All disputes or legal matters related to the quiz shall fall under the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Any expenses arising from such proceedings will be borne individually by the concerned parties. / क्विज़ से संबंधित सभी विवादों और कानूनी मामलों का अधिकार क्षेत्र केवल दिल्ली रहेगा। ऐसे किसी भी प्रकरण से उत्पन्न व्यय संबंधित पक्षों द्वारा स्वयं वहन किया जाएगा।
9. The Ministry of Culture will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received due to technical errors or any circumstances beyond reasonable control. Proof of submission will not be considered proof of receipt. / तकनीकी त्रुटि या किसी अन्य अनियंत्रित परिस्थिति के कारण खोई, विलंबित, अधूरी या प्राप्त न हो सकने वाली प्रविष्टियों के लिए संस्कृति मंत्रालय जिम्मेदार नहीं होगा। सबमिशन का प्रमाण, प्राप्ति का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
10. By participating, the participant agrees to all the above terms and conditions, including any future modifications or updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेकर, प्रतिभागी उपर्युक्त सभी नियमों और शर्तों, तथा भविष्य में किए जाने वाले किसी भी संशोधन या बदलाव को स्वीकार करता है।
11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and all matters will be subject to the decisions of the Indian judicial system. / ये नियम और शर्तें भारत के कानूनों के अधीन होंगी और सभी मामलों पर भारतीय न्याय प्रणाली के निर्णय मान्य होंगे।
