About Quiz
‘SVASTIK Quiz’ is a national level quiz competition organised by CSIR-NIScPR for Indian citizens on #SVASTIK, a nationwide initiative launched upon the call of our honourable Prime Minister and President CSR Society, to communicate India’s scientifically validated traditional knowledge to the society. This quiz is designed to ignite the attention of Indian citizens toward the #SVASTIK initiative.
This quiz will be broadly based on #SVASTIK stories featured in 8 diverse traditional knowledge domains demonstrating Mathematics & Astronomy, Chemistry & Metallurgy, Water, Ecology & Environment, Traditional Agriculture & Foods, Indian Architecture, Indian Commerce, Indian Systems of Medicine, and Indian way of Education & Philosophy. The questions will also emphasize on the #SVASTIK initiative and related programs. The quiz will be in bilingual format (English/Hindi). Duration of the quiz will be 05 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 10 questions can be answered. All the participants will get a participation E-certificate.

‘SVASTIK Quiz’ एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता है, जिसे CSIR-NIScPR द्वारा भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए #SVASTIK पर आयोजित किया गया है। यह एक राष्ट्रीय पहल है, जिसे हमारे माननीय प्रधानमंत्री और CSR Society के अध्यक्ष के आह्वान पर शुरू किया गया है, ताकि भारत के वैज्ञानिक रूप से प्रमाणित पारंपरिक ज्ञान को समाज तक पहुँचाया जा सके। यह प्रश्नोत्तरी भारतीय नागरिकों को #SVASTIK पहल की ओर आकर्षित करने के लिए डिज़ाइन की गई है।
यह प्रश्नोत्तरी मुख्य रूप से #SVASTIK कहानियों पर आधारित होगी, जो 8 विभिन्न पारंपरिक ज्ञान क्षेत्रों में प्रदर्शित होती हैं: गणित और खगोलशास्त्र, रसायन और धातु विज्ञान, जल, पारिस्थितिकी और पर्यावरण, पारंपरिक कृषि और खाद्य, भारतीय वास्तुकला, भारतीय वाणिज्य, भारतीय चिकित्सा पद्धतियाँ, और भारतीय शिक्षा एवं दर्शन का तरीका। प्रश्नों में #SVASTIK पहल और संबंधित कार्यक्रमों पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा। यह प्रश्नोत्तरी द्विभाषी प्रारूप (अंग्रेजी/हिंदी) में होगी। प्रश्नोत्तरी की अवधि 05 मिनट (300 सेकंड) होगी, जिसके दौरान अधिकतम 10 प्रश्नों का उत्तर दिया जा सकता है। सभी प्रतिभागियों को एक भागीदारी E-सर्टिफिकेट मिलेगा।

टॉप 3 विजेताओं को SVASTIK किताबों का संग्रह और प्रमाणपत्र दिया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. This Quiz is open to all the citizens of India. / यह प्रश्नोत्तरी भारत के सभी नागरिकों के लिए खुली है।
2. Participants should make sure that his/ her MyGov profile is accurate and updated for further communication. This includes details such as name, country declaration, complete postal address, email ID, phone number, etc. / प्रतिभागियों को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि उनका MyGov प्रोफ़ाइल सटीक और अद्यतन हो, ताकि आगे की संचार प्रक्रिया में कोई परेशानी न हो। इसमें नाम, देश की घोषणा, पूर्ण पता, ईमेल आईडी, फोन नंबर आदि शामिल हैं।
3. The entry is required to be submitted on the MyGov portal. / प्रविष्टि को MyGov पोर्टल पर सबमिट किया जाना आवश्यक है।
4. Participants can take part in the quiz by registering on MyGov (www.mygov.in). / प्रतिभागी MyGov (www.mygov.in) पर पंजीकरण करके प्रश्नोत्तरी में भाग ले सकते हैं।
5. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete, or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक किसी भी जिम्मेदारी को स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे यदि प्रविष्टियाँ खो जाएं, देर से प्राप्त हों, अधूरी हों या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या आयोजक के उचित नियंत्रण से बाहर किसी अन्य कारण से प्रसारित नहीं हुई हों। कृपया ध्यान दें कि प्रविष्टि को सबमिट करने का प्रमाण इसका प्राप्ति प्रमाण नहीं है।
6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में, आयोजक कभी भी प्रश्नोत्तरी को संशोधित करने या रद्द करने का अधिकार रखते हैं। संदेह से बचने के लिए, इसमें इन नियम और शर्तों को संशोधित करने का अधिकार भी शामिल है।
7. The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the quiz from time to time. / प्रतिभागी समय-समय पर प्रश्नोत्तरी में भाग लेने के सभी नियमों और शर्तों का पालन करेंगे।
8. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above. / प्रश्नोत्तरी में भाग लेकर, प्रतिभागी उपरोक्त नियम और शर्तों से सहमत होते हैं और इन्हें मानने के लिए बाध्य होते हैं।
9. All participants will be given a digital Certificate of Participation. / सभी प्रतिभागियों को डिजिटल भागीदारी प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
