About Quiz
To help citizens stay safe and prepared during cold waves, NDMA, in collaboration with MyGov, is organizing an engaging online quiz. This initiative aims to raise awareness about cold wave conditions, their causes, and their impacts. Through the quiz, participants will also learn practical prevention strategies to reduce risks and stay safe during winter.
By participating, you’ll gain valuable insights on how to prepare for and respond to cold waves effectively. Together, let’s take proactive steps to protect ourselves and our communities this winter!
Objectives
1. Awareness Generation: Help people understand what cold waves are, why they happen, and how they affect our lives, health, and communities.
2. Encourage Participation: Motivate participants to be proactive about their own safety and well-being by learning and sharing cold wave survival strategies.
3. Promote Knowledge: Foster understanding of government initiatives and community actions related to cold wave management.
4. Celebrate Learning: Make preparedness rewarding by recognizing and appreciating those who participate and excel in the quiz.

Terms and Conditions
1. The quiz is being organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with the MyGov platform. / क्विज़ का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (NDMA) द्वारा MyGov प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ किया जा रहा है।
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens. / प्रश्नोत्तरी में प्रवेश सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
3. The Quiz is available both in English and Hindi language. A participant may choose either of the languages. / क्विज़ अंग्रेजी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है। एक प्रतिभागी इनमें से कोई भी भाषा चुन सकता है।
4. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी ‘स्टार्ट क्विज़’ बटन पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज़ शुरू हो जाएगी।
5. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn. / एक बार सबमिट की गई प्रविष्टियाँ वापस नहीं ली जा सकेंगी।
6. Questions contained within the quiz will be based on various aspects of cold wave, including causes, impacts, and safety measures. / क्विज़ में शामिल प्रश्न शीत लहर के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर आधारित होंगे, जिनमें कारण, प्रभाव और सुरक्षा उपाय शामिल होंगे।
7. Participants can only enter the quiz competition once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered. / प्रतिभागी प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता में केवल एक बार ही भाग ले सकते हैं। एक ही प्रतिभागी की एकाधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी और उन पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता के नियमों और शर्तों में संशोधन करने या विचार के अनुसार प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
9. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizers’ reasonable. / आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए कोई ज़िम्मेदारी स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे जो खो गई हैं, देर से, अधूरी हैं या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या आयोजकों के उचित से परे किसी अन्य त्रुटि के कारण प्रसारित नहीं हुई हैं।
10. The decision of the NDMA and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / प्रश्नोत्तरी पर एनडीएमए और माईगॉव का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा, और इसके संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
11. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions. / क्विज़ में प्रवेश करके, प्रतिभागी उपर्युक्त नियमों और शर्तों को स्वीकार करता है और उनसे बंधा हुआ है।
