About Quiz
As a part of Republic Day Celebrations-2026, a series of online quiz competition on the following topics will be conducted by Ministry of Defence in coordination with MyGov in order to create Republic Day Fervor and inculcating patriotic feelings among Citizens especially the youths and school students: –
1. Quiz on The evolution of Vande Mataram – 150 Years of Patriotic Inspiration
2. Quiz on India Space Achievements
3. Quiz on India Achievements in Sports
4. Quiz on Atmanirbhar Bharat – Mission to achieve self-reliance
Salient features:
(i) Each of the quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English.
(ii) Duration of each of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
(iii) Winners of the contest will be announced on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes. However, participants will be allowed in all the above quizzes without round-wise elimination.
(iv) There will be cash prize of ₹10,000/- each for Top Three Winners.
(v) There will be Twenty-Seven (27) Consolation Prizes of ₹5000/- each.
(vi) All participants to the Quiz will get an online generated certificate of participation by MyGov.in
गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह–2026 के अंतर्गत देश में गणतंत्र दिवस का उत्साह बढ़ाने तथा विशेष रूप से युवाओं और विद्यालयी छात्रों में देशभक्ति की भावना विकसित करने हेतु रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा MyGov के समन्वय में निम्नलिखित विषयों पर ऑनलाइन क्विज़ श्रृंखला आयोजित की जाएगी:
1. क्विज़ ऑन द इवॉल्यूशन ऑफ वंदे मातरम – 150 वर्षों की देशभक्ति की प्रेरणा
2. भारत की अंतरिक्ष उपलब्धियों पर क्विज़
3. भारत की खेल उपलब्धियों पर क्विज़
4. आत्मनिर्भर भारत – आत्मनिर्भरता प्राप्त करने के मिशन पर क्विज़
मुख्य विशेषताएँ:
(i) प्रत्येक क्विज़ द्विभाषीय होगा, अर्थात हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी दोनों में उपलब्ध रहेगा।
(ii) प्रत्येक क्विज़ की अवधि 5 मिनट (300 सेकंड) होगी, जिसमें अधिकतम 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए जा सकते हैं।
(iii) प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं की घोषणा उपर्युक्त सभी क्विज़ में प्राप्त सम्मिलित प्रदर्शन के आधार पर की जाएगी। हालांकि, प्रतिभागियों को सभी क्विज़ में बिना किसी चरणबद्ध निष्कासन के भाग लेने की अनुमति होगी।
(iv) शीर्ष तीन विजेताओं को ₹10,000/- की नकद पुरस्कार राशि दी जाएगी।
(v) सत्ताईस (27) प्रतिभागियों को ₹5000/- के सांत्वना पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे।
(vi) सभी प्रतिभागियों को MyGov.in द्वारा ऑनलाइन जनरेटेड भागीदारी प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz. / सभी भारतीय नागरिक क्विज़ में भाग ले सकते हैं।
2. The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time” collectively in all the four quizzes, subject to the stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes’ duration in each of the quizzes. / सफल विजेताओं के चयन का मानदंड सभी तीन क्विज़ में सामूहिक रूप से “कम से कम समय में अधिकतम सही उत्तर” होगा, प्रत्येक क्विज़ में 20 प्रश्नों के प्रयास और 05 मिनट की अवधि की शर्त के अधीन।
3. An individual is permitted to participate only once in each of the quizzes. / एक व्यक्ति को प्रत्येक क्विज़ में केवल एक बार भाग लेने की अनुमति है।
4. The participant should ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would use this for further communication. / प्रतिभागी को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि उसकी माईगव प्रोफ़ाइल सही और अपडेटेड है क्योंकि मंत्रालय आगे संचार के लिए इसका उपयोग करेगा।
5. The top 200 participants, selected for issuing invitation for Republic Day Parade 2026 at Kartavyapath, New Delhi are requested to provide mandatory details in respect of self and one companion (Guardian/ Spouse/Relative etc.) i.e. salutation, name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, Nationality, Any Govt. ID number, Residential Address. Children below 5 years will not be allowed as companion or otherwise. / चयनित 200 प्रतिभागियों को निम्नलिखित जानकारी अपने और अपने साथी के लिए देनी होगी अभिवादन (श्री/डॉ./श्रीमती आदि), नाम (हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में), जन्मतिथि (दिन-माह-वर्ष), मोबाइल नंबर, ईमेल आईडी, राष्ट्रीयता, कोई सरकारी आईडी नंबर (आधार/वोटर आईडी/ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस आदि), स्थायी पता। ध्यान दें: 5 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों को साथी के रूप में अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
6. Participant will, therefore, require to provide only valid e-mail & mobile as further correspondence, if any, seeking the details for issuing Invitation Card & payment of winning prize will only be made via e-mail. Therefore, participant is requested to keep regular watch on his/her e-mail. / प्रतिभागी को केवल मान्य ईमेल और मोबाइल नंबर प्रदान करना होगा क्योंकि आगे की कोई भी जानकारी, जैसे निमंत्रण कार्ड जारी करने या पुरस्कार राशि के भुगतान से संबंधित जानकारी, केवल ईमेल के माध्यम से ही दी जाएगी। इसलिए प्रतिभागी से अनुरोध है कि वे अपने ईमेल की नियमित रूप से जांच करते रहें।
7. One mobile number & one email ID cannot be used by more than one participant for one competition/quiz during Republic Day Parade 2026. / एक मोबाइल नंबर और एक ईमेल आईडी का उपयोग एक प्रतियोगी द्वारा केवल एक बार किया जा सकता है, किसी भी प्रतियोगिता/क्विज़ में 2026 की गणतंत्र दिवस परेड के दौरान।
8. On receipt of e-mail or call from Ministry of Defence ten winners will require to submit requisite documents for releasing winning prize/payment viz. ID proof & Bank Details, copy of canceled cheque etc. / रक्षा मंत्रालय से ईमेल या कॉल प्राप्त होने पर, दस विजेताओं को अपना पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक दस्तावेज जैसे पहचान पत्र, बैंक विवरण, रद्द किया हुआ चेक आदि प्रस्तुत करने होंगे।
9. It may be noted that all the expenses related to travel, lodging, food etc. to visit Delhi for witnessing Republic Day Ceremony at Kartavya Path on 26th January,2026 will be borne by the individual himself/herself. / यह ध्यान रखें कि समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए यात्रा, आवास, भोजन आदि से संबंधित सभी खर्च प्रतिभागी स्वयं वहन करेंगे।
10. However, traveling in Delhi Metro toward to & fro journey for witnessing the Parade will be free of charge on showing e-invitation at any of Delhi Metro Station. / हालांकि, दिल्ली मेट्रो में परेड देखने के लिए आने-जाने का सफर ई-निमंत्रण दिखाने पर किसी भी दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन पर नि:शुल्क रहेगा।
11. Use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the competition, will result rejection of participation. / किसी भी अनुचित या कपटपूर्ण साधनों का उपयोग, जैसे कि पहचान छिपाना, दोहरी भागीदारी आदि, से प्रतियोगिता में भागीदारी निरस्त कर दी जाएगी।
12. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard. / क्विज़ में भागीदारी के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार के अनुचित / कपटपूर्ण / भ्रामक साधनों या कदाचार—जैसे प्रतिरूपण (Impersonation), दोहरी भागीदारी आदि—के उपयोग का पता चलने पर प्रतिभागिता निरस्त मानी जाएगी और तत्काल अस्वीकृत कर दी जाएगी। क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के आयोजक या उनकी ओर से कार्य करने वाली कोई भी एजेंसी इस संबंध में निर्णय लेने का पूर्ण अधिकार सुरक्षित रखती है।
13. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition, are not eligible to participate in the competition. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members. / प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन से सीधे या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़े कर्मचारियों को प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने की अनुमति नहीं है। यह पात्रता प्रतिबंध उनके निकटतम पारिवारिक सदस्यों पर भी लागू होता है।
