
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, the Ninth Guru of the Sikhs, is revered for his supreme martyrdom in defence of faith and freedom of belief. Born in 1621, Guru Sahib lived a life devoted to meditation, humility, and the teachings of equality, compassion, and truth.
At a time when freedom of belief and the right to practice one’s faith were under threat, Guru Sahib stood firmly for the dignity and rights of all. In 1675, Guru Sahib attained martyrdom in Delhi, offering his life for the protection of others’ beliefs. This supreme martyrdom remains a timeless example of courage, righteousness, and selfless service.
To commemorate the 350th year of his martyrdom, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens to participate in the Quiz on Observance of 350 Years of Martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Through this quiz, participants will engage with the historical and spiritual legacy of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, gaining insight into his teachings and their enduring relevance in promoting justice, dignity, and harmony.

All participants will be awarded an e-certificate.
1. The quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
2. The quiz will begin immediately once the participant clicks on ‘Play Quiz’.
3. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
4. Participants must ensure that their MyGov profile is accurate and up to date, as the Ministry of Culture and MyGov will use this information for all communication.
5. Incomplete, incorrect, or missing information at any stage may lead to cancellation of the participant’s entry.
6. Any use of unfair means or malpractice—such as impersonation, multiple participation or any other spurious activity—will lead to automatic disqualification. The Ministry of Culture and MyGov reserve the right to take necessary action.
7. Employees directly or indirectly involved in organizing the quiz, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Ministry of Culture and MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions, modify the rules, or cancel the quiz at any time, as deemed necessary.
9. All disputes or legal matters related to the quiz shall fall under the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Any expenses arising from such proceedings will be borne individually by the concerned parties.
10. The Ministry of Culture will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received due to technical errors or any circumstances beyond
reasonable control.
11. Proof of submission will not be considered proof of receipt.
12. By participating, the participant agrees to all the above terms and conditions, including any future modifications or updates.
13. The Winners Selection will be conducted through a system-generated randomization method to ensure fairness and transparency. All participants who meet the mentioned quiz winning criteria, including all correct answers and submission within the stipulated time-frame, will be included in a centralized pool of eligible entries. Winners will be selected solely through an automated random selection process.
14. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
