About Quiz

Nadi Utsav is an annual programme dedicated to celebrating the rivers and riverine culture of India, and is organized by IGNCA under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India for its Riverine Culture Project. 

Quiz on Nadi Utsav – Celebrating River and Riverine Culture aims to raise awareness about Indian rivers and their culture, thus increasing participation in the celebration of India’s rich riverine heritage.

 

Gratification:

All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation

Top 10 highest-scoring students will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.2,000/- each.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. The quiz is open to all Indian citizens. School students are especially encouraged to participate.

2. There is no entry fee for participation.

3. The quiz consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

4. All questions have four options, and only one correct answer.

5. Each participant may attempt the quiz only once.

6. The participant should ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated.

7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions. 

8. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.

9. IGNCA will disburse the winning amount/ rewards to the selected winner(s) after publishing the Winner Announcement Blog on blog.mygov.in  

10. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the IGNCA, Ministry of Culture reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.

11. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.

12. The decision of the Department/Ministry and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. 

13. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.

14. By participating in the quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the contest, including any amendments or further updates. 

15. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
