National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) celebrates its foundation day every year to underscore its commitment to various disaster management. As a part of this NDMA proposes to conduct this activity to motivate individuals and communities to take proactive measures. It aims to leave a lasting impression, inspiring people to make preparedness a priority and contribute to a more resilient society.
Through a series of thought-provoking questions and interactive learning, participants will test their understanding of various types of disasters, learn effective response strategies, and discover the importance of proactive measures in safeguarding lives and communities.

राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (एनडीएमए) विभिन्न आपदा प्रबंधन के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित करने के लिए हर साल अपना स्थापना दिवस मनाता है। इसके एक भाग के रूप में एनडीएमए नागरिकों और समुदायों को सक्रिय कदम उठाने के लिए प्रेरित करने हेतु इस गतिविधि का संचालन करने जा रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य एक स्थायी प्रभाव छोड़ना, लोगों को आपदा से पहले की प्राथमिकता देने में योगदान करने के लिए प्रेरित करना है।
विचारोत्तेजक प्रश्नों और सीखने की एक श्रृंखला के माध्यम से, प्रतिभागी विभिन्न प्रकार की आपदाओं के बारे में अपनी समझ का परीक्षण करेंगे, प्रभावी प्रतिक्रिया रणनीतियों को सीखेंगे, और जीवन और समुदायों की सुरक्षा में सक्रिय उपायों को जान सकेंगे।

1. All Indian citizens are eligible to participate. / सभी नागरिक भाग लेने के पात्र हैं।
2. This is a timed quiz. Participants will be required to answer 20 questions within 10 Minutes (600 seconds). / यह एक समयबद्ध क्विज है। प्रतिभागियों को 10 मिनट (600 सेकंड) के भीतर 20 प्रश्नों का उत्तर देना होगा
3. The quiz will be available in both languages i.e., English and Hindi. / क्विज दोनों भाषाओं यानी अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में उपलब्ध होगी।
4. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी ‘प्ले क्विज़‘ पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज़ शुरू हो जाएगा।
5. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form./ एक बार सबमिट की गई प्रविष्टियाँ वापस नहीं ली जा सकेंगी। प्रतिभागियों को प्रवेश पत्र के अनुसार अपना नाम, ईमेल पता, टेलीफोन नंबर और अतिरिक्त विवरण प्रदान करना आवश्यक होगा।
6. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details. / अपना विवरण प्रस्तुत करके और क्विज़ में भाग लेकर, प्रतिभागी MyGov और राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (NDMA) को क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के संचालन को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए आवश्यकतानुसार इस जानकारी का उपयोग करने के लिए सहमति देते हैं, जिसमें प्रतिभागी विवरणों की पुष्टि शामिल हो सकती है।
7. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted./ एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा प्राप्त एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered./ अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता के नियमों और शर्तों में संशोधन करने या विचार के अनुसार प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
9. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants, refuse entry, or discard entries, if such instances or participation is considered to be detrimental to the competition, or additionally, any entry will be considered void if the information submitted is illegible, incomplete, false, or erroneous./ आयोजकों के पास प्रतिभागियों को अयोग्य घोषित करने, प्रवेश से इंकार करने या प्रविष्टियों को खारिज करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है, यदि ऐसे उदाहरणों या भागीदारी को प्रतियोगिता के लिए हानिकारक माना जाता है, या इसके अतिरिक्त, यदि प्रस्तुत की गई जानकारी अस्पष्ट, अधूरी, झूठी पाई जाती है तो उस प्रविष्टि को अमान्य माना जाएगा।
10. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s responsibility./ आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए कोई जिम्मेदारी स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे जो खो गई हैं, देर से, अधूरी हैं या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या आयोजक की जिम्मेदारी से परे किसी अन्य त्रुटि के कारण प्रसारित नहीं हुई हैं।
11. The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates./ प्रतिभागियों को किसी भी संशोधन या आगे के अपडेट सहित क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के सभी नियमों और शर्तों का पालन करना होगा।
12. Organizers’ decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same./ क्विज़ पर आयोजकों का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इसके संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
13. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above-mentioned terms and conditions./ क्विज़ में प्रवेश करके, प्रतिभागी उपर्युक्त नियमों और शर्तों को स्वीकार करता है और उनसे बंधा हुआ है।
14. The following terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system./ अब से निम्नलिखित नियम और शर्तें भारतीय कानूनों और भारतीय न्यायिक प्रणाली के निर्णयों द्वारा शासित होंगी।
15. MyGov reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of this Contest and/ or Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or the cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform./ MyGov इस प्रतियोगिता और/या नियम और शर्तों/तकनीकी मापदंडों/मूल्यांकन मानदंड के सभी या किसी हिस्से को रद्द करने या संशोधित करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है। हालाँकि, नियम और शर्तों/तकनीकी मापदंडों/मूल्यांकन मानदंड में कोई भी बदलाव, या प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करना, MyGov प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर अपडेट/पोस्ट किया जाएगा।
16. The participant should make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since this will be used for further communication. This includes details such as name, photo, complete postal address, email ID, and phone number.
