About Quiz

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is implementing Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) with the objectives of:

  • providing partial compensation for the wage loss in terms of cash incentive so that the woman can take adequate rest before and after delivery of the first child; and
  • providing cash incentive to improve health seeking behavior amongst the Pregnant Women & Lactating Mothers.

“Matru Vandana Saptah” is celebrated during the month of September 2021 to further accelerate various activities under PMMVY scheme and to create an awareness about nutrition amongst pregnant women. For this purpose, Ministry of Women and Child Development and MyGov are conducting a Quiz on Nutrition awareness about Pregnant women and Lactating mothers.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry into the Quiz is open to all entrants who are residents of India or are of Indian origin.
  2. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Start Quiz’ button.
  3. Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 10 questions can be answered.
  4. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
  5. e-Certificates will be issued to all the participants after the Quiz ends.
  6. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answer. Participants can view their score after the quiz.
  7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered.
  8. Participants can only enter the quiz competition once. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted and considered.
  9. There is no prize money associated with this quiz.
  10. The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
  11. Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number. By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the Quiz.
