About Quiz
India, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has witnessed significant advances in science, technology, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on women as equal partners and leaders in the nation’s scientific journey. Flagship initiatives led by the Department of Science and Technology have strengthened participation of women across education, research, leadership, and innovation, reinforcing the vision of a science-driven Viksit Bharat.
This online quiz, organised by Department of Science and Technology (DST) in collaboration with MyGov, celebrates the contributions of women scientists, key national programmes, and evidence-based progress in STEM. Through an engaging knowledge format, the quiz aims to build awareness, inspire participation, and foster pride in India’s inclusive and forward-looking science and Science ecosystem.
All the participants will get an E-Certificate of Participation.
माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में भारत ने विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार में अहम स्थान प्राप्त किया है, इसके अंतर्गत देश की वैज्ञानिक यात्रा में महिलाओं को बराबर की साझेदारी और नेतृत्व करने की दिशा में जोर दिया गया है। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग द्वारा आरंभ किए गए प्रयासों ने शिक्षा, शोध, नेतृत्व और नवाचार में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को मज़बूत किया है, जिससे विज्ञान पर आधारित विकसित भारत का विज़न और मज़बूत हुआ है।
विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग ने MyGov के साथ मिलकर यह ऑनलाइन क्विज़ आरंभ किया है, जो महिला वैज्ञानिकों के योगदान, अहम राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रमों और स्टेम में उनकी उपलब्धियों का उत्सव मनाता है। एक दिलचस्प नॉलेज फ़ॉर्मेट के द्वारा, क्विज़ का लक्ष्य जागरूकता बढ़ाना, भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देना और भारत के सबको साथ लेकर चलने वाले और आगे की सोच वाले वैज्ञानिक इकोसिस्टम पर गर्व करना है।
सभी प्रतिभागियों को सहभागीता का ई–प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त होगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens. / यह क्विज़ सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
2. Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / प्रतिभागी द्वारा ‘Play Quiz’ पर क्लिक करते ही क्विज़ शुरू हो जाएगा।
3. The quiz is hosted on MyGov’s quiz portal. / यह क्विज़ माईगव के क्विज़ पोर्टल पर होस्ट किया गया है।
4. The quiz is available in both English and Hindi. / क्विज़ अंग्रेज़ी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है।
5. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक प्रतिभागी द्वारा एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
6. It is a time-bound quiz: you will have 300 seconds to answer 10 questions. / यह एक समय-सीमित क्विज़ है: 10 प्रश्नों को हल करने के लिए 300 सेकंड दिए जाएंगे।
7. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, includingbut not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard. / यदि किसी भी अनुचित या कपटपूर्ण तरीकों, जैसे कि प्रतिरूपण, दोहरी भागीदारी आदि का उपयोग किया जाता है, तो प्रतिभागिता अमान्य घोषित कर दी जाएगी। आयोजकों या उनकी ओर से कार्यरत किसी भी एजेंसी को इस संबंध में अंतिम निर्णय लेने का अधिकार होगा।
8. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizers the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members. / आयोजकों से प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़े कर्मचारी तथा उनके निकट संबंधी इस क्विज़ में भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं होंगे।
9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता की शर्तों में संशोधन या प्रतियोगिता रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
10. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होंगे जो तकनीकी त्रुटियों के कारण विलंबित, अधूरी, खोई हुई या गलत तरीके से प्रेषित हुई हैं। प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण उसकी प्राप्ति का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
11. The decision of DST on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / इस क्विज़ पर डीएसटी का निर्णय अंतिम एवं बाध्यकारी होगा, और इस पर कोई पत्राचार स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
12. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. / इस प्रतियोगिता से संबंधित सभी विवाद/कानूनी शिकायतें केवल दिल्ली न्यायालय क्षेत्राधिकार के अंतर्गत आएंगी, और इस संबंध में होने वाले सभी खर्च प्रतिभागियों द्वारा स्वयं वहन किए जाएंगे।
13. By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेते ही प्रतिभागी इसके सभी नियम व शर्तों, साथ ही किसी भी संशोधन या अपडेट को स्वीकार करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
14. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. / इन नियमों और शर्तों का संचालन भारतीय कानूनों के अंतर्गत होगा और भारतीय न्यायपालिका के निर्णय ही मान्य होंगे।
