The quiz will aim to spread awareness and test citizens’ knowledge about the benefits, usage, and production of Nano urea. Based on preliminary experiment trials conducted in several ICAR research institutes and state agricultural universities on various crops such as paddy, wheat, mustard, maize, tomato, cabbage, cucumber, capsicum, onion, and so on, nano nitrogen (Nano Urea) developed by IFFCO has been provisionally included in Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985. Nano-urea sprays on different crops gave comparable yields to those obtained under fully recommended doses of fertilizers, with savings on top-dressed nitrogen.
Nano Fertilizers hold great promise for application in plant nutrition because of their size-dependent qualities, high surface-to-volume ratio, and unique optical properties. Nano Fertilizer releases plant nutrients in a controlled manner, contributing to higher nutrient use efficiency.
Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has set up the world’s first manufacturing facility with a production capacity of 1,50,000 bottles per day (500-ml size) of Nano Urea (liquid) fertilizers at its Kalol unit in Gujarat, and commercial production has commenced w.e.f. August 1, 2021.
The quiz is being organized by Department of Chemical and Fertilizers to educate people on the benefits of Nano Urea Technology.

क्विज का उद्देश्य नैनो यूरिया के लाभ, उपयोग और उत्पादन के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना और नागरिकों के ज्ञान का परीक्षण करना है। इफको द्वारा विकसित नैनोनाइट्रोजन (नैनो यूरिया) धान, गेहूं, सरसों, मक्का, टमाटर, गोभी, ककड़ी, शिमला मिर्च, प्याज आदि जैसी विभिन्न फसलों पर कई आईसीएआर अनुसंधान संस्थानों और राज्य कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों में किए गए प्रारंभिक प्रयोग परीक्षणों के आधार पर उर्वरक नियंत्रण आदेश (FCO) 1985 में अनंतिम रूप से शामिल किया गया है। विभिन्न फसलों पर नैनो-यूरिया स्प्रे ने उर्वरकों की पूरी तरह से अनुशंसित खुराक के तहत प्राप्त उपज के बराबर उपज दी, साथ ही टॉप-ड्रेस्ड नाइट्रोजन पर बचत की।
अपने आकार-निर्भर गुणों, उच्च सतह-से-आयतन अनुपात और अद्वितीय ऑप्टिकल गुणों के कारण नैनो उर्वरक पौधों के पोषण में बहुत बड़ी उम्मीद रखते हैं। नैनो फर्टिलाइजर पौधों के पोषक तत्वों को नियंत्रित तरीके से रिलीज करता है, जिससे उच्च पोषक तत्व उपयोग दक्षता में योगदान होता है।
भारतीय किसान उर्वरक सहकारी लिमिटेड (इफको) ने गुजरात में अपनी कलोल यूनिट में नैनो यूरिया (तरल) उर्वरकों की प्रति दिन 1,50,000 बोतलों (500 मिलीलीटर आकार) की उत्पादन क्षमता और वाणिज्यिक उत्पादन के साथ दुनिया की पहली विनिर्माण सुविधा स्थापित की है; जो कि 1 अगस्त, 2021 से शुरू हो चुका है।
क्विज का आयोजन नागरिकों को नैनो यूरिया टेक्नोलॉजी के फायदों के बारे में शिक्षित करने के लिए किया जा रहा है।

4. Participants must provide their name, email address, telephone number, and postal address. 7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organisers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the quiz at any time. 8. The participant will abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the quiz./ प्रतिभागी क्विज में भाग लेने के सभी नियमों और विनियमों का पालन करेगा।
9. The organizers’ reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse the participation of any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant is detrimental to the quiz, organisers, or any partners of the competition. 11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of India and its territories./ ये नियम और शर्तें भारत और इसके क्षेत्रों के कानूनों द्वारा शासित होंगी।
