About Quiz
India is a country with diverse culture, history, and traditions. Heritage Quiz is aimed to highlight India’s multifaceted heritage. Heritage Quiz is a medium through which we can examine our history and traditions, enabling us to develop awareness about the same. The lack of awareness of our Heritage reduces the opportunities to engage in preserving and safeguarding our heritage.
The Archaeological Survey of India, in collaboration with MyGov, intends to host the Heritage Quiz to reach out to students across the country and introduce them to the rich, diverse, and cultural heritage of India. The quiz also aims to raise awareness about conserving and managing the country’s heritage.
Gratification:
Each month 10 winners will get a free visit with his/her family to any monument protected by the Archaeological Survey of India, along with a complimentary picture clicked at the monument.

भारत विविध संस्कृति, इतिहास और परंपराओं वाला देश है। सांस्कृतिक विरासत क्विज का उद्देश्य भारत की बहुमुखी विरासत को उजागर करना है। सांस्कृतिक विरासत क्विज़ एक ऐसा माध्यम है जिसके माध्यम से हम अपने इतिहास और परंपराओं की जानाकारी के बारे में पता कर सकते हैं, जिससे हम इसके बारे में जागरूक हो सकें। हमारी विरासत के बारे में जागरूकता की कमी हमारी विरासत के संरक्षण में संलग्न होने के अवसरों को कम कर देती है।
भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण, माईगव के सहयोग से, देश भर के छात्रों को भारत की समृद्ध, विविध और सांस्कृतिक विरासत से परिचित कराने के उद्देश्य से सांस्कृतिक विरासत क्विज़ आयोजित करने जा रहा है। क्विज का उद्देश्य देश की विरासत के संरक्षण और प्रबंधन के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना भी है।
पुरस्कारः
हर महीने 10 विजेताओं को अपने परिवार के साथ भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण द्वारा संरक्षित किसी भी स्मारक पर नि:शुल्क यात्रा करने का मौका मिलेगा, साथ ही स्मारक के साथ एक तस्वीर भी खिंचवाने का मौका मिलेगा।

Terms and Conditions
1. The Quiz will be active for a period of one year. / क्विज एक वर्ष की अवधि के लिए खुला रहेगा।
2. The quiz is open to all school children. / क्विज सभी स्कूली बच्चों के लिए खुला है।
3. This is a timed quiz. Participants will be required to answer 25 questions within 15 Minutes. / यह एक समयबद्ध क्विज है। प्रतिभागियों को 15 मिनट के भीतर 25 सवालों के जवाब देने होंगे।
4. The quiz will have a bilingual format and will be available in English and Hindi. / क्विज का प्रारूप द्विभाषी होगा और यह अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में उपलब्ध होगा।
5. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी ‘प्ले क्विज‘ पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज शुरू हो जाएगा।
6. In case of multiple winners, the final winner will be declared through a lucky draw. / एक से अधिक विजेताओं के मामले में, अंतिम विजेता को लकी ड्रा के माध्यम से घोषित किया जाएगा।
7. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn. / एक बार सबमिट की गई प्रविष्टियां वापस नहीं ली जा सकतीं।
8. Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and Ministry of Culture to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details. / प्रतिभागियों को अपना नाम, ईमेल पता, टेलीफोन नंबर और अतिरिक्त विवरण देना होगा जैसा कि प्रवेश फॉर्म में आवश्यक है। अपना विवरण जमा करके और क्विज में भाग लेकर, प्रतिभागी माईगव और संस्कृति मंत्रालय को इस जानकारी का उपयोग करने की सहमति देते हैं, ताकि क्विज प्रतियोगिता के संचालन को सुविधाजनक बनाया जा सके, जिसमें प्रतिभागी के विवरण की पुष्टि शामिल हो सकती है।
9. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक ही प्रतिभागी की एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियां स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
10. The participants who fetch the maximum number of correct answers in the minimum time will be declared the winner. / न्यूनतम समय में अधिकतम संख्या में सही उत्तर प्राप्त करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को विजेता घोषित किया जाएगा।
11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता के नियमों और शर्तों में संशोधन करने या प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
12. The organizers reserve the rights to disqualify participants, refuse entry, or discard entries, if such instances or participation is considered to be detrimental to the competition, or additionally, any entry will be considered void if the information submitted is illegible, incomplete, false, or erroneous. / आयोजक प्रतिभागियों को अयोग्य घोषित करने, प्रवेश से इनकार करने, या प्रविष्टियों को खारिज करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं, यदि ऐसी घटनाओं या भागीदारी को प्रतियोगिता के लिए हानिकारक माना जाता है, या इसके अतिरिक्त, प्रस्तुत की गई जानकारी अपठनीय, अपूर्ण होने पर किसी भी प्रविष्टि को अमान्य माना जाएगा।
13. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s responsibility. / आयोजकों की जिम्मेदारी से परे खोई हुई, देर से, अपूर्ण या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या किसी अन्य त्रुटि के कारण प्रेषित प्रविष्टियों के लिए आयोजकों की कोई ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं होगी।
14. The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates./ प्रतिभागियों को क्विज प्रतियोगिता के सभी नियमों और शर्तों का पालन करना होगा, जिसमें कोई भी संशोधन या आगे के अपडेट शामिल हैं।
15. Organizers’ decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज पर आयोजकों का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इसके संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा|
16. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above‑mentioned terms and conditions./ क्विज में प्रवेश करके, प्रतिभागी उपरोक्त नियमों और शर्तों से बाध्य होने के लिए स्वीकार करता है और सहमत होता है।
17. The following terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system./ निम्नलिखित नियम और शर्तें अब से भारतीय कानूनों और भारतीय न्याय प्रणाली के निर्णयों द्वारा शासित होंगी।
