About Quiz
CERT-In, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Cyber Buddha and hosted on MyGov, invites students aged 12–14 years to participate in India’s first Cyber Quiz Olympiad — the Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Awareness Quiz (Junior Category).
This quiz introduces children to essential concepts of cyber safety — recognizing phishing links, creating strong passwords, and practicing safe online sharing. It aims to build early digital awareness and empower students to protect their data, devices, and identities in the online world.
Who Can Participate
Indian students aged 12 to 14 years.
Parental or school consent is recommended.
Evaluation
- Each question carries equal marks.
- Answers are auto-evaluated through the MyGov platform.
- Scores are ranked on a national leaderboard based on accuracy and time of submission.
Prizes
- Top 3 winners: Cyber Shield Trophy, Certificate from CERT-In, and Cash Prizes.
- Top 7 runners-up: Medals and Certificates.
- All participants: Digital Certificate issued by MyGov.
Terms and Conditions
- 1. Participation is open only to individuals aged 12–14 years.
- 2. Entries outside this age group will not be considered for winner evaluation.
- 3. Only one attempt per participant is permitted.
- 4. Quiz must be completed in a single sitting.
- 5. The decision of the organizers shall be final and binding.
- 6. All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
