About Quiz
The National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is revising the base year of India’s key macroeconomic indicators – Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Consumer Price Index (CPI), and Index of Industrial Production (IIP).
MoSPI, in collaboration with MyGov, is organizing this quiz contest to enhance awareness regarding the Base Year Revision of CPI, IIP, and GDP, and to increase public reach and engagement. This initiative will help disseminate information on the importance of base year revision and the key changes introduced, while also encouraging public participation and understanding.
NSO, (MoSPI) भारत के प्रमुख व्यापक आर्थिक संकेतकों – सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (GDP), उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (CPI) और औद्योगिक उत्पादन सूचकांक (IIP) के आधार वर्ष (Base Year) को संशोधित कर रहा है।
MoSPI, MyGov के सहयोग से CPI, IIP और GDP के आधार वर्ष संशोधन के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और सार्वजनिक पहुंच बढ़ाने के लिए इस प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कर रहा है। यह पहल आधार वर्ष संशोधन के महत्व और पेश किए गए प्रमुख परिवर्तनों के बारे में जानकारी प्रसारित करने में मदद करेगी, साथ ही सार्वजनिक भागीदारी और समझ को भी प्रोत्साहित करेगी।
Objectives / उद्देश्य:
- Enhance Awareness: To educate citizens on the base year revision of GDP, CPI & IIP. / जागरूकता बढ़ाना: नागरिकों को GDP, CPI और IIP के आधार वर्ष संशोधन के बारे में शिक्षित करना।
- Increase Reach: To foster increased audience engagement on various social media channels and the official MoSPI website. / पहुंच बढ़ाना: विभिन्न सोशल मीडिया चैनलों और मंत्रालय की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर दर्शकों की भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देना।
- Information Dissemination: To help the public understand the methodology and importance of economic indicators. / सूचना प्रसार: जनता को आर्थिक संकेतकों की कार्यप्रणाली और महत्व को समझने में मदद करना।

Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मापदंड:
- All citizens above 14 years of age. / 14 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के सभी नागरिक।
- Participants must be Indian nationals. / प्रतिभागियों का भारतीय नागरिक होना अनिवार्य है।
- Winners must submit Aadhar card details for verification. / विजेताओं को सत्यापन के लिए आधार कार्ड विवरण जमा करना होगा।

Terms and Conditions
1.Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens. / यह क्विज़ सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुला है।
2. Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / प्रतिभागी द्वारा ‘Play Quiz’ पर क्लिक करते ही क्विज़ शुरू हो जाएगा।
3. The quiz is available in both English and Hindi. / क्विज़ अंग्रेज़ी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है।
4. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक प्रतिभागी द्वारा एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
5. It is a time-bound quiz: you will have 300 seconds to answer 15 questions. / यह एक समय–सीमित क्विज़ है – 15 प्रश्नों को हल करने के लिए 300 सेकंड दिए जाएंगे।
6. Winners are determined by the highest score. In case of a tie, the shortest time taken will decide the rank. / विजेता का निर्णय उच्चतम स्कोर द्वारा किया जाएगा। टाई होने की स्थिति में, सबसे कम समय लेने वाले को उच्च रैंक दी जाएगी।
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता की शर्तों में संशोधन या प्रतियोगिता रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
8. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होंगे जो तकनीकी त्रुटियों के कारण विलंबित, अधूरी, खोई हुई या गलत तरीके से प्रेषित हुई हैं। प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण उसकी प्राप्ति का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजकों को किसी भी समय क्विज़ को संशोधित करने या वापस लेने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। संदेह से बचने के लिए इसमें इन नियमों और शर्तों को संशोधित करने का अधिकार भी शामिल है।
10. Organizer’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज़ पर आयोजक का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इस संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
11. By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेते ही प्रतिभागी इसके सभी नियम व शर्तों, साथ ही किसी भी संशोधन या अपडेट को स्वीकार करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
12. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. / इन नियमों और शर्तों का संचालन भारतीय कानूनों के अंतर्गत होगा और भारतीय न्यायपालिका के निर्णय ही मान्य होंगे।
13. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. / सभी विवाद/कानूनी शिकायतें केवल दिल्ली के अधिकार क्षेत्र के अधीन हैं। इस उद्देश्य के लिए किए गए खर्चे पार्टियों द्वारा खुद वहन किए जाएंगे।
