About Quiz
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is India’s main agency for enforcing drug laws. It works under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and is responsible for controlling drug trafficking and abuse as per the NDPS Act, 1985. In recent years, with both national and international challenges rising, NCB’s role in dealing with drug-related matters has become even more important.
This quiz is an effort by NCB, with guidance from the Ministry of Home Affairs , in collaboration with MyGov to spread wide awareness about drug trafficking, illegal cultivation, storage, and abuse. The aim is to involve everyone including youth, students, women, educational institutions, and the larger community, so that people get the right knowledge and the confidence to fight against drugs.
Since the launch of the MANAS Helpline 1933, and its integration with the Anti-Narcotics Task Forces (ANTF) of all States and Union Territories, discussions on how to stop drug trafficking and abuse have reached schools, colleges, community spaces, and even online platforms like social media. These talks are helping people say “no” to drugs, and those who are struggling are now seeking counselling and rehabilitation.

नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो (एनसीबी) भारत में मादक पदार्थों से संबंधित कानूनों को लागू करने वाली प्रमुख एजेंसी है। यह भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्य करता है और एनडीपीएस अधिनियम, 1985 के अनुसार मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी और दुरुपयोग को नियंत्रित करने के लिए उत्तरदायी है। हाल के वर्षों में, राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर बढ़ती चुनौतियों के साथ, मादक पदार्थों से संबंधित मामलों से निपटने में एनसीबी की भूमिका और भी महत्वपूर्ण हो गई है।
यह प्रश्नोत्तरी गृह मंत्रालय के मार्गदर्शन में एनसीबी और MyGov द्वारा मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी, अवैध खेती, भंडारण और दुरुपयोग के बारे में व्यापक जागरूकता फैलाने का एक प्रयास है। इसका उद्देश्य युवाओं, छात्रों, महिलाओं, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और व्यापक समुदाय सहित सभी को शामिल करना है, ताकि लोगों को सही ज्ञान और मादक पदार्थों के खिलाफ लड़ने का आत्मविश्वास मिले।
मानस हेल्पलाइन 1933 की शुरुआत और सभी राज्यों व केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के एंटी-नारकोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स (ANTF) के साथ इसके एकीकरण के बाद से, मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी और दुरुपयोग को रोकने के तरीकों पर चर्चा स्कूलों, कॉलेजों, सामुदायिक स्थलों और यहाँ तक कि सोशल मीडिया जैसे ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म तक पहुँच गई है। ये चर्चाएँ लोगों को नशे से “ना” कहने में मदद कर रही हैं, और जो लोग इससे जूझ रहे हैं, वे अब परामर्श और पुनर्वास की तलाश में हैं।

Terms and Conditions
1. The Quiz is being organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India / क्विज़ को नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो, मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ़ होम अफेयर्स, गवर्नमेंट ऑफ़ इंडिया ऑर्गनाइज़ कर रहा है।
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens / क्विज़ में एंट्री सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुली है।
3. This is a timed quiz with 10 questions to be answered in 2 minutes (120 seconds) / यह एक टाइम्ड क्विज़ है जिसमें 10 सवालों के जवाब 2 मिनट (120 सेकंड) में देने होंगे।
4. These questions will be based on the scope of the Narcotics Control Bureau’s area of focus / ये सवाल नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो के फोकस एरिया के स्कोप पर आधारित होंगे।
5. The quiz will start when the participant clicks the “Start Quiz” button / क्विज़ तब शुरू होगी जब पार्टिसिपेंट “स्टार्ट क्विज़” बटन पर क्लिक करेगा।
6. The Winners Selection will be conducted through a system-generated randomization method to ensure fairness and transparency. All participants who meet the mentioned quiz winning criteria, including all correct answers and submission within the stipulated time-frame, will be included in a centralized pool of eligible entries. Winners will be selected solely through an automated random selection process. / निष्पक्षता और पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए विजेताओं का चयन सिस्टम-जनरेटेड रैंडमाइजेशन विधि के माध्यम से किया जाएगा। वे सभी प्रतिभागी जो क्विज़ जीतने के बताए गए मानदंडों को पूरा करते हैं जिनमें सभी सही उत्तर देना और निर्धारित समय-सीमा के भीतर सबमिट करना शामिल है, उन्हें योग्य प्रविष्टियों के एक केंद्रीय समूह में शामिल किया जाएगा। विजेताओं का चयन केवल एक स्वचालित रैंडम चयन प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।
7. You will be required to provide your name, email address, and telephone number / आपको अपना नाम, ईमेल एड्रेस और टेलीफ़ोन नंबर देना होगा। अपनी कॉन्टैक्ट डिटेल्स सबमिट करके, आप क्विज़ के लिए इन डिटेल्स के इस्तेमाल के लिए मंज़ूरी देते हैं।
8. One Participant can participate only once / एक पार्टिसिपेंट सिर्फ़ एक बार हिस्सा ले सकता है।
9. Winners must submit their bank account details within seven (7) days of the announcement of results/ result communication; failing which, they may not be considered for prize disbursal. / विजेताओं को नतीजे घोषित होने या नतीजे की जानकारी मिलने के सात (7) दिनों के भीतर अपने बैंक खाते की जानकारी देनी होगी; ऐसा न करने पर, उन्हें इनाम देने पर विचार नहीं किया जा सकता है।
10. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control / ऑर्गनाइज़र उन एंट्रीज़ के लिए कोई ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं लेंगे जो खो गई हैं, देर से आई हैं, अधूरी हैं या कंप्यूटर की गलती या ऑर्गनाइज़र के कंट्रोल से बाहर किसी और गलती की वजह से भेजी नहीं गई हैं। कृपया ध्यान दें कि एंट्री जमा करने का सबूत, एंट्री मिलने का सबूत नहीं है।
11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time / अचानक आने वाली किसी भी स्थिति में, ऑर्गनाइज़र किसी भी समय क्विज़ में बदलाव करने या उसे वापस लेने का अधिकार रखते हैं। शक से बचने के लिए, इसमें इन नियमों और शर्तों में बदलाव करने का अधिकार भी शामिल है।
12. The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time / पार्टिसिपेंट को समय-समय पर क्विज़ में हिस्सा लेने के सभी नियमों और कानूनों का पालन करना होगा।
13. Organizers reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz / ऑर्गनाइज़र किसी भी पार्टिसिपेंट को डिसक्वालिफ़ाई करने या हिस्सा लेने से मना करने का पूरा अधिकार रखते हैं, अगर उन्हें लगता है कि किसी पार्टिसिपेंट का हिस्सा लेना या उससे जुड़ना क्विज़ या ऑर्गनाइज़र या क्विज़ के पार्टनर के लिए नुकसानदायक है। अगर ऑर्गनाइज़र को मिली जानकारी पढ़ने लायक नहीं, अधूरी, खराब, झूठी या गलत है, तो रजिस्ट्रेशन रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।
14. Organizer’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same / क्विज़ पर ऑर्गनाइज़र का फ़ैसला आखिरी और मानने वाला होगा और इस बारे में कोई बातचीत नहीं की जाएगी।
15. The laws of the Indian Judiciary shall govern these Terms and Conditions / ये नियम और शर्तें भारतीय ज्यूडिशियरी के कानून के तहत आएंगे।
16. By Participating in the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above / क्विज़ में हिस्सा लेकर, पार्टिसिपेंट ऊपर बताए गए इन नियम और शर्तों को मानता है और उनसे सहमत होता है।
