About Quiz

Census of India is the most credible source of information on socio-cultural & demographic data of the country since 1872. The data collected through the Census operation is used for planning & formulation of various welfare policies& schemes. The success of Census depends on public participation as full & correct information is essential for development of the nation.

In order to sensitize people about Census, a quiz is being organized to intrigue people to know more about the operation.

Timeline: 21st July 2020 10:00 am to 23rdAug 2020 5:00 pm

Prize:

1st Prize: INR 800

2nd Prize: INR 400

3rd Prize: INR 200

Winner certificate to all the 3 winners.

Duration: The Quiz duration shall be of 10 minutes, during which 10 multiple-choice questions shall be required to be answered

Terms and Conditions

  1. The quiz competition is open to all Indian Citizens.
  2. Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn.
  3. We will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond a reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
  4. Each entry must be accompanied by these details: name, gender, educational qualification, occupation, contact numbers, email and complete postal address with pin/zip code. A scan copy of a valid proof of identity (Passport/Driving license/Voter ID Proof/ Ration Card)
  5. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
  6. Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz. The registrations shall be void if the information received by the Organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous.
  7. By entering the Quiz the Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above.
  8. Entry must be submitted to MyGov portal. The link for the same has been made available at mygov.in.
  9. Please ensure that your email address is valid and operational as this is the principal means through which communication will take place.
  10. One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded.
  11. The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding on all the contestants and it does not owe any clarifications to any participants for any of its decisions.
  12. The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time.
  13. Organiser’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
  14. Employees of the Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India or their relatives are not eligible for the contest
  15. Participants can view their score after 21st August 2020, once the quiz has ended
