About Quiz
National Sports Day (NSD) is celebrated every year on 29th August to commemorate India’s deep-rooted tradition of sports. This day is a tribute to Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand and celebrates the nation’s sporting icons, honoring their contributions and dedication to bringing laurels to the country on the international stage. The NSD 2019 marked a significant moment with the grand launch of the FIT India Mission by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, aiming to revive and promote a vibrant sports culture across the nation.
This year, to further this mission, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports,FIT India in collaboration with MyGov, invites you to participate in the “Champions of India: National Sports Day Quiz 2024”. This quiz is designed to celebrate the indomitable spirit of Indian athletes, their outstanding achievements, and the rich legacy of sports in our country. Whether you are a student, a sports enthusiast, or simply passionate about India’s sporting history, this quiz offers an exciting and educational experience for everyone. Challenge yourself, test your knowledge, and compete with sports lovers from across the nation. Join us now and be a part of this inspiring journey that celebrates India’s champions!
Salient Features:
1. The quiz will be conducted in English.
2. The duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 15 questions must be answered.
Terms and Conditions
1. The quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
2. The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on ‘Play Quiz’.
3. This is a timed quiz with 15 questions to be answered in 300 seconds. There will be no negative marking.
4. Participants must ensure their MyGov profile is updated for further communication.
5. The questions will be randomly selected from the question bank through an automated process.
6. Participants can register using a mobile number or an email ID. The same mobile number or email address cannot be used more than once to participate in the quiz.
7. The organizers reserve the right to modify or discontinue the quiz at any time due to unforeseen events. This includes the ability to change these terms and conditions.
8. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify or refuse the participation of any individual if their participation is deemed detrimental to the quiz. Participation will be void if the information provided is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false, or erroneous.
9. By entering the quiz, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
10. Employees directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
11. The organizer’s decision regarding the quiz is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
12. All disputes or legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
13. Participants need to have a regular check of the website for all the updates.
14. After successful completion, the participant could download a digital participation certificate recognizing their participation and completion.
15. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
