The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), established in 1959 under an Act of Parliament, regulates the Cost and Management Accountancy profession. It offers courses, coaching, and professional development programs while promoting cost competitiveness, efficient resource management, and strategic decision-making. Headquartered in Kolkata, ICMAI has four Regional Councils, 117 Chapters in India, and 11 Overseas Centres. The Budget 2025 Quiz, presented by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India in collaboration with MyGov, is an engaging initiative designed to enhance awareness about the budget. Actively participating in such quizzes improves information retention and deepens financial knowledge. Staying informed about financial matters empowers individuals to make informed decisions and remain vigilant.
Gratification :
1st winner will be awarded a prize worth INR 10,000/- (Ten Thousand rupees only).
2nd winner will be awarded a prize worth INR 8000/- (Eight Thousand rupees only).
3rd winner will be awarded prize worth INR 6000/- (Six thousand rupees only).
All participants to the Quiz will get an e-certificate of participation
1. All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz.
2. A participant needs to register on the MyGov portal before taking the Quiz. For registration, the participant needs to submit a valid mobile number and a valid e-mail ID. The same mobile number or email ID cannot be used twice for registration. This means that a participant can participate in the Quiz only once. In case of same mobile number/email id being used multiple times, only the first entry will be considered eligible, and the remaining entries will be eliminated.
3. The Quiz will be in English Language and will have 10 (ten) multiple choice questions, each carrying one mark. A participant will get 5 (five) minutes to complete the Quiz. There will be no negative marking.
4. After the closure of the Quiz, and prior to the announcement of results, the winners will be required to provide their identity details. Non-submission of these details will render their participation null and void and the next best performer will be chosen accordingly.
5. The participant should ensure that his / her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Institute would use this for further communication.
6. Participant will, therefore, require to provide only valid e-mail & mobile as further correspondence, if any, seeking the details for issuing Invitation Card & payment of winning prize will only be made via e-mail. Therefore, participant is requested to keep regular watch on his/her e-mail.
7. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and MyGov shall not be liable for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or not received due to technical issues or any other factors beyond the organisers’ control. Kindly note that proof of submission does not guarantee proof of receipt.
8. Use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the competition, will result rejection of participation.
9. The organisers hold the right to disqualify participants and reject entries if the submitted information is incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.
10. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition, are not eligible to participate in the competition. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
11. By participating in the Quiz, the participant agrees to have read and accepted the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
12. The decision of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding the same.
