About Quiz
National Fish Farmers Day is observed annually on 10 July to commemorate the successful induced breeding of Indian Major Carps by Dr. Hiralal Chaudhuri and Dr. K. H. Alikunhi in 1957—a landmark scientific achievement that revolutionized India’s aquaculture sector.
India is one of the world’s leading fish-producing nations, and the fisheries sector plays a pivotal role in ensuring food and nutritional security, generating employment, enhancing exports, and supporting the livelihoods of millions of fishers and fish farmers.
In recognition of this remarkable legacy, the Department of Fisheries in Colloboration with MyGov is launching a nationwide citizen engagement campaign to mark National Fish Farmers Day 2026. The campaign aims to raise awareness about fisheries and aquaculture, promote sustainable fishing practices, and highlight the invaluable contribution of fish farmers to India’s Blue Economy.
Gratification: All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
आज भारत विश्व के अग्रणी मत्स्य उत्पादक देशों में शामिल है। मत्स्य क्षेत्र खाद्य एवं पोषण सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने, रोजगार सृजन, निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने तथा लाखों मछुआरों और मत्स्य पालकों की आजीविका को सशक्त बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है।
इसी गौरवशाली विरासत को सम्मान देने के उद्देश्य से मत्स्य पालन विभाग, MyGov के सहयोग से राष्ट्रीय मत्स्य पालक दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर एक राष्ट्रव्यापी जनभागीदारी अभियान आयोजित कर रहा है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य मत्स्य पालन एवं जलीय कृषि के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना, सतत मत्स्य पालन को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा भारत की ब्लू इकोनॉमी को सशक्त बनाने में मत्स्य पालकों के अमूल्य योगदान को जन-जन तक पहुँचाना है।
पुरस्कार: सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रतिभागिता प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. The Quiz is being organized by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India. / क्विज़ का आयोजन मत्स्य पालन विभाग, मत्स्य पालन, पशुपालन एवं डेयरी मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा किया जा रहा है।
2.Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens. / क्विज़ में भागीदारी सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुली है।
3.This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 600 seconds. / यह एक समयबद्ध क्विज़ है जिसमें 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर 600 सेकंड में देने होंगे।
4.The Quiz will start when the participant clicks the “Start Quiz” button. / क्विज़ तब शुरू होगी जब प्रतिभागी “Start Quiz” बटन पर क्लिक करेगा।
5.One Participant can participate only once. / एक प्रतिभागी केवल एक बार ही भाग ले सकता है।
6.Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note that proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the entry. / आयोजक उन प्रविष्टियों के लिए कोई ज़िम्मेदारी स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे जो खो गई हों, देर से प्राप्त हुई हों, अधूरी हों या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि अथवा आयोजकों के उचित नियंत्रण से बाहर किसी अन्य कारण से प्रेषित न हो सकी हों। कृपया ध्यान दें कि प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण, प्रविष्टि प्राप्त होने का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
7.In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में आयोजकों को किसी भी समय क्विज़ में संशोधन करने या उसे वापस लेने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। इसमें इन नियमों एवं शर्तों में संशोधन करने का अधिकार भी शामिल है।
8.The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time. / प्रतिभागी को समय-समय पर लागू क्विज़ के सभी नियमों एवं शर्तों का पालन करना होगा।
9.Organizers reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem the participation or association of any participant to be detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz. If the information received by the Organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous, the registration shall be rejected. / यदि आयोजकों को किसी प्रतिभागी की भागीदारी या उससे जुड़ाव क्विज़, आयोजकों अथवा क्विज़ के साझेदारों के हितों के प्रतिकूल प्रतीत होता है, तो आयोजकों को ऐसे प्रतिभागी को अयोग्य घोषित करने या उसकी भागीदारी अस्वीकार करने का पूर्ण अधिकार सुरक्षित है। यदि आयोजकों को प्राप्त जानकारी अपठनीय, अधूरी, क्षतिग्रस्त, असत्य या भ्रामक पाई जाती है, तो पंजीकरण निरस्त कर दिया जाएगा।
10.Organizer’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज़ के संबंध में आयोजकों का निर्णय अंतिम एवं सभी प्रतिभागियों पर बाध्यकारी होगा तथा इस संबंध में किसी भी प्रकार का पत्राचार स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
11. The laws of the Indian Judiciary shall govern these Terms and Conditions. / ये नियम एवं शर्तें भारतीय न्यायपालिका के लागू कानूनों के अधीन होंगी।
12. By participating in the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions mentioned above. / क्विज़ में भाग लेकर प्रतिभागी उपर्युक्त सभी नियमों एवं शर्तों को स्वीकार करता है तथा उनका पालन करने के लिए सहमत होता है।
