About Quiz
As part of the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (World Drug Day) on 26 June 2026, the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, is launching the General Awareness Quiz on Drug and Substance Abuse.
The quiz is aligned with the official global theme of World Drug Day 2026: “World drug problem: persisting issues, new challenges, innovative responses.”
The theme underscores the need for sustained action, innovative solutions, and strengthened partnerships to tackle the evolving challenges posed by drugs while promoting healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
The quiz aims to create awareness among students, youth, teachers, parents, and citizens about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse, the importance of prevention, early intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, and the collective responsibility of society in addressing the growing challenge of substance misuse.
Participants will have an opportunity to assess and enhance their knowledge on drug and substance abuse, tobacco use, preventive measures, relevant laws including the NDPS Act, 1985 and COTPA, 2003, and key Government initiatives such as Tobacco-Free Educational Institutions (TOFEI) and the Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya Initiative.
The quiz is intended to inspire individuals to become informed citizens and ambassadors of a healthier, safer, and drug-free India.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
26 जून 2026 को मनाए जाने वाले मादक द्रव्यों के दुरुपयोग एवं अवैध तस्करी के विरुद्ध अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस (विश्व मादक पदार्थ दिवस) के उपलक्ष्य में, स्कूल शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार, एवं MyGov के सहयोग से नशीले पदार्थों एवं मादक द्रव्यों के दुरुपयोग पर सामान्य जागरूकता क्विज़ का आयोजन कर रहा है।
यह क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता विश्व मादक पदार्थ दिवस 2026 की आधिकारिक वैश्विक थीम के अनुरूप है: “विश्व मादक पदार्थ समस्या: लगातार बनी हुई चुनौतियाँ, नई चुनौतियाँ, नवाचारपूर्ण समाधान।”
यह थीम मादक पदार्थों से उत्पन्न निरंतर एवं बदलती चुनौतियों का प्रभावी ढंग से सामना करने के लिए सतत प्रयासों, नवाचारपूर्ण समाधानों तथा सुदृढ़ साझेदारी की आवश्यकता पर बल देती है। साथ ही, यह स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने तथा सूचित एवं जिम्मेदार निर्णय लेने को भी प्रोत्साहित करती है।
इस क्विज़ का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों, युवाओं, शिक्षकों, अभिभावकों तथा नागरिकों के बीच मादक पदार्थों एवं नशीले पदार्थों के दुरुपयोग के दुष्प्रभावों, उनकी रोकथाम, समय रहते हस्तक्षेप, उपचार, पुनर्वास तथा नशीले पदार्थों के बढ़ते दुरुपयोग की चुनौती से निपटने में समाज की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी के प्रति जागरूकता उत्पन्न करना है।
प्रतिभागियों को नशीले पदार्थों एवं मादक द्रव्यों के दुरुपयोग, तंबाकू सेवन, रोकथाम संबंधी उपायों, नारकोटिक ड्रग्स एंड साइकोट्रोपिक सब्सटेंस (NDPS) अधिनियम, 1985, सिगरेट एवं अन्य तंबाकू उत्पाद अधिनियम (COTPA), 2003, तथा तंबाकू-मुक्त शैक्षणिक संस्थान (TOFEI) एवं नशा मुक्त विद्यालय पहल जैसी प्रमुख सरकारी पहलों के बारे में अपने ज्ञान का आकलन एवं उसे समृद्ध करने का अवसर मिलेगा।
इस क्विज़ का उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों को जागरूक एवं जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने तथा स्वस्थ, सुरक्षित एवं नशा-मुक्त भारत के निर्माण में सक्रिय योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित करना है।
पुरस्कार:
सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रतिभागिता प्रमाण-पत्र (Certificate of Participation) प्रदान किया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens. / यह क्विज़ सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए खुली है।
2. Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / प्रतिभागी द्वारा ‘Play Quiz’ पर क्लिक करते ही क्विज़ प्रारंभ हो जाएगी।
3. The quiz is hosted on MyGov’s quiz portal. / यह क्विज़ MyGov के क्विज़ पोर्टल पर आयोजित की जा रही है।
4. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएँगी।
5. It is a time-bound quiz: you will have 600 seconds to answer 20 questions. / यह एक समयबद्ध क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता है। 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने के लिए 600 सेकंड का समय निर्धारित है।
6. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard. / यदि क्विज़ के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार के अनुचित अथवा कपटपूर्ण साधनों/अनुचित आचरण, जैसे कि प्रतिरूपण (Impersonation), एक से अधिक बार भाग लेना अथवा अन्य किसी प्रकार की अनियमितता का पता चलता है, तो संबंधित प्रतिभागिता को अमान्य घोषित कर निरस्त कर दिया जाएगा। इस संबंध में क्विज़ के आयोजकों अथवा उनकी ओर से कार्यरत किसी भी एजेंसी का निर्णय अंतिम होगा।
7. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizers of the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members. / क्विज़ के आयोजन से प्रत्यक्ष अथवा अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़े कर्मचारी इसमें भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं होंगे। यह प्रतिबंध उनके निकटतम पारिवारिक सदस्यों पर भी लागू होगा।
8. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता के नियम एवं शर्तों में संशोधन करने अथवा प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
9. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक ऐसी प्रविष्टियों के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होंगे जो खो जाएँ, विलंब से प्राप्त हों, अपूर्ण हों अथवा कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या आयोजकों के उचित नियंत्रण से बाहर किसी अन्य कारणवश प्राप्त न हो सकें। कृपया ध्यान दें कि प्रविष्टि जमा करने का प्रमाण, उसके प्राप्त होने का प्रमाण नहीं माना जाएगा।
10. The decision of the organizers on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज़ से संबंधित आयोजकों का निर्णय अंतिम एवं सभी प्रतिभागियों पर बाध्यकारी होगा। इस संबंध में किसी भी प्रकार का पत्राचार स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
11. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. / सभी विवाद एवं कानूनी शिकायतें केवल दिल्ली के न्यायालयों के अधिकार क्षेत्र के अधीन होंगी। इस संबंध में होने वाला समस्त व्यय संबंधित पक्ष स्वयं वहन करेंगे।
12. By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेकर प्रतिभागी इस प्रतियोगिता के सभी नियम एवं शर्तों तथा समय-समय पर किए जाने वाले संशोधनों अथवा अद्यतनों का पालन करने के लिए सहमत होंगे।
13. The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. / ये नियम एवं शर्तें भारतीय कानूनों के अधीन होंगी तथा इनकी व्याख्या एवं निर्णय भारतीय न्यायपालिका द्वारा किए जाएँगे।
