About Quiz
As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2026, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov, proudly presents an engaging Online Quiz Series aimed at deepening citizens’ understanding of India’s democratic foundations, freedom struggle, scientific achievements, and strategic capabilities.
Participants will have the opportunity to test their knowledge, explore defining moments of India’s journey, and celebrate the vision, resilience, and innovation that continue to shape the nation through four specially curated quizzes:
1. Quiz on the Constitution of India – Fundamental rights, duties, key articles and makers
Explore the cornerstone of Indian democracy through questions on Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, key Constitutional provisions, and the visionary leaders who shaped the Constitution of India.
2. Quiz on Women in India’s Freedom Movement – From Rani Lakshmibai to Sarojini Naidu and beyond
Discover the extraordinary contributions of women who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence, from Rani Lakshmibai and Sarojini Naidu to countless unsung heroines who inspired generations.
3. Quiz on Major milestones of Modern India – Technological progresses and achievement in Space Technology
Celebrate India’s remarkable journey of scientific advancement and technological excellence, highlighting transformative innovations and landmark achievements in space exploration.
4. Quiz on India’s success story in Nuclear Technology
Tracer India’s path towards self-reliance and excellence in nuclear science, showcasing significant milestones, peaceful applications, and strategic achievements that have strengthened the nation’s progress and security.
Salient features:
1. Each of the quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English.
2. Duration of each of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.
3. Winners of the contest will be announced on the basis of combined performance in all the above quizzes. However, participants will be allowed in all the above quizzes without round-wise elimination.
4. Top three short listed winners will be awarded prize money of Rs. 15,000/- each.
5. There will be Twenty (20) Consolation Prizes of ₹5000/- each.
6. Top 200 participants along with one companion (spouse/guardian/relative etc.) would be issued e-invitation from Ministry of Defence to witness Independence Day Celebration to be held on 15th August, 2026 at Red Fort, Delhi.
7. All participants to the Quiz will get an online generated certificate of participation by MyGov.in.
स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह 2026 के अंतर्गत, रक्षा मंत्रालय और MyGov के सहयोग से एक आकर्षक ऑनलाइन क्विज़ सीरीज प्रस्तुत की जा रही है, जिसका उद्देश्य नागरिकों को भारत की लोकतांत्रिक नींव, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, वैज्ञानिक उपलब्धियों तथा सामरिक क्षमताओं के बारे में अधिक गहन जानकारी प्रदान करना है।
इस सीरीज के माध्यम से प्रतिभागियों को अपने ज्ञान का परीक्षण करने, भारत की विकास यात्रा के महत्वपूर्ण पड़ावों को जानने तथा राष्ट्र के उस दृष्टिकोण, दृढ़ता और नवाचार का उत्सव मनाने का अवसर मिलेगा, जो निरंतर भारत के भविष्य को आकार दे रहे हैं। इसके अंतर्गत चार विशेष रूप से तैयार की गई क्विज़ प्रस्तुत की जा रही हैं:
1. भारतीय संविधान- मौलिक अधिकार, कर्तव्य, प्रमुख अनुच्छेद और संविधान निर्माताओं पर क्विज़
भारतीय लोकतंत्र की आधारशिला को समझने के लिए यह क्विज़ मौलिक अधिकारों, मौलिक कर्तव्यों, संविधान के प्रमुख प्रावधानों तथा संविधान निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाले दूरदर्शी नेताओं से संबंधित प्रश्नों पर आधारित है।
2. रानी लक्ष्मीबाई से सरोजिनी नायडू तक, भारत के स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में महिलाओं की भूमिका पर पर क्विज़
भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में महिलाओं के असाधारण योगदान को जानें। यह क्विज़ रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, सरोजिनी नायडू जैसी महान हस्तियों के साथ-साथ उन असंख्य अनाम वीरांगनाओं के योगदान को भी रेखांकित करती है, जिन्होंने पीढ़ियों को प्रेरित किया।
3. आधुनिक भारत के प्रमुख मील के पत्थरः अंतरिक्ष प्रौधोगिकी समेत तकनीकी के क्षेत्र में आधुनिक भारत की उपलब्धियों पर क्विज़
भारत की वैज्ञानिक प्रगति और तकनीकी उत्कृष्टता की उल्लेखनीय यात्रा का उत्सव मनाएं। यह क्विज़ देश की परिवर्तनकारी तकनीकी नवाचारों और अंतरिक्ष अन्वेषण में प्राप्त ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धियों को उजागर करती है।
4. परमाणु प्रौद्योगिकी में भारत की सफलता की कहानी पर क्विज़
परमाणु विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता और उपलब्धियों से भरी यात्रा को जानें। यह क्विज़ देश की महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियों, परमाणु ऊर्जा के शांतिपूर्ण उपयोगों तथा उन सामरिक सफलताओं पर प्रकाश डालती है, जिन्होंने भारत की प्रगति और सुरक्षा को सुदृढ़ किया है।
मुख्य विशेषताएं:
1. प्रत्येक क्विज़ द्विभाषी प्रारूप में होगी, अर्थात हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों में उपलब्ध होगी।
2. प्रत्येक क्विज़ की अवधि 5 मिनट (300 सेकंड) होगी, जिसमें अधिकतम 20 प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए जा सकेंगे।
3. प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं की घोषणा सभी उपरोक्त क्विज़ में संयुक्त प्रदर्शन के आधार पर की जाएगी। हालांकि, प्रतिभागियों को उपरोक्त सभी क्विज़ में भाग लेने की अनुमति होगी, किसी भी चरण में बाहर नहीं किया जाएगा।
4. चयनित शीर्ष तीन विजेताओं को ₹15,000/- (पंद्रह हजार रुपये मात्र) की पुरस्कार राशि प्रदान की जाएगी।
5. इसके अतिरिक्त, 20 सांत्वना पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे, जिनमें प्रत्येक विजेता को ₹5,000/ (पांच हजार रुपये मात्र) की पुरस्कार राशि प्रदान की जाएगी।
6. शीर्ष 200 प्रतिभागियों को उनके एक साथी (जैसे पति/पत्नी, अभिभावक, रिश्तेदार आदि) के साथ, रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा 15 अगस्त, 2026 को लाल किला, दिल्ली में आयोजित होने वाले स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में शामिल होने हेतु ई-आमंत्रण प्रदान किया जाएगा।
7. क्विज़ में भाग लेने वाले सभी प्रतिभागियों को MyGov.in द्वारा एक ऑनलाइन जनित सहभागिता प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया जाएगा।
Terms and Conditions
1. All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz. / सभी भारतीय नागरिक इस क्विज़ में भाग ले सकते हैं।
2. The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers” collectively in all the four quizzes, subject to the stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes’ duration in each of the quizzes. / विजेताओं के चयन का मापदंड होगा – “सभी चार क्विज़ में सामूहिक रूप से अधिकतम सही उत्तर”, बशर्ते कि प्रत्येक क्विज़ में अधिकतम 20 प्रश्न हल करने और 5 मिनट की समय-सीमा का पालन किया गया हो।
3. An individual is permitted to participate only once in each of the quizzes. / प्रत्येक प्रतिभागी को प्रत्येक क्विज़ में केवल एक बार भाग लेने की अनुमति होगी।
4. Top 200 participants would be issued e-invitation from Ministry of Defence for witnessing Independence Day Ceremony-2026 at Red Fort, Delhi along with one companion (guardian/ spouse/relative etc.)/ शीर्ष 200 प्रतिभागियों को रक्षा मंत्रालय की ओर से स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह 2026 (15 अगस्त) के लिए लाल किले, दिल्ली में एक साथी (अभिभावक/ जीवनसाथी/ रिश्तेदार आदि) के साथ उपस्थित होने हेतु ई-निमंत्रण जारी किया जाएगा।
5. The top 200 participants, selected for issuing e-invitation for Independence Day Celebrations-2026 at Red Fort, Delhi are requested to provide mandatory details in respect of self and one companion (guardian/ spouse/relative etc.)/ लाल किले, दिल्ली में आयोजित स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह 2026 के लिए ई-निमंत्रण हेतु चयनित शीर्ष 200 प्रतिभागियों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे स्वयं तथा एक साथी (अभिभावक/जीवनसाथी/रिश्तेदार आदि) के संबंध में आवश्यक जानकारी अनिवार्य रूप से प्रदान करें।
6. Participant will, therefore, require to provide only valid e-mail & mobile as further correspondence, if any, seeking the details for issuing e-Invitation & payment of winning prize will only be made via e-mail. Therefore, participant is requested to keep regular watch on his/her e-mail. / प्रतिभागी को केवल सही ई-मेल आईडी और मोबाइल नंबर ही प्रदान करना होगा, क्योंकि ई-निमंत्रण जारी करने और पुरस्कार राशि के भुगतान से संबंधित सभी आगामी संवाद केवल ई-मेल के माध्यम से किए जाएंगे। अतः प्रतिभागियों से अनुरोध है कि वे नियमित रूप से अपनी ई-मेल की जांच करते रहें।
7. One mobile number & one email ID cannot be used by more than one participant for one quiz at a time. / एक ही मोबाइल नंबर और एक ही ई-मेल आईडी का उपयोग एक समय में एक क्विज़ के लिए एक से अधिक प्रतिभागियों द्वारा नहीं किया जा सकता।
8. On receipt of e-mail or call from Ministry of Defence cash prize winners will require to submit requisite documents for releasing winning prize/payment viz. ID proof & Bank Details, copy of cancelled cheque etc./ रक्षा मंत्रालय की ओर से नकद पुरस्कार विजेताओं को जब ई-मेल या कॉल प्राप्त होगा, तो उन्हें पुरस्कार राशि के भुगतान हेतु आवश्यक दस्तावेज जैसे कि पहचान प्रमाण, बैंक विवरण, रद्द किया हुआ चेक आदि प्रस्तुत करने होंगे।
9. It may be noted that all the expenses related to travel, lodging, food etc. to visit Delhi for witnessing Independence Day Ceremony at Red Fort, Delhi on 15th August, 2026 will be borne by the individual himself/herself. / यह ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए कि 15 अगस्त 2026 को लाल किले, दिल्ली में आयोजित स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह में भाग लेने के लिए यात्रा, ठहरने, भोजन आदि से संबंधित सभी खर्च प्रतिभागी को स्वयं वहन करने होंगे।
10. However, traveling in Delhi Metro toward to & fro journey for witnessing the Parade will be free of charge on showing e-invitation at any of Delhi Metro Station./ हालांकि, दिल्ली मेट्रो में समारोह स्थल तक आने-जाने की यात्रा निःशुल्क होगी — बशर्ते प्रतिभागी ई-निमंत्रण दिखाएं। किसी भी दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन पर यह सुविधा उपलब्ध होगी।
11. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard. / यदि प्रतिभागी द्वारा किसी भी प्रकार की अनुचित/भ्रामक गतिविधियों जैसे कि छल, नकल, पहचान छिपाना, दोहरी भागीदारी आदि का पता चलता है, तो उस प्रतिभागी की भागीदारी को अमान्य कर दिया जाएगा। क्विज़ के आयोजक या उनकी ओर से कार्यरत किसी भी एजेंसी को इस संबंध में निर्णय लेने का पूरा अधिकार है।
12. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members./ जो कर्मचारी इस क्विज़ के आयोजन में प्रत्यक्ष या परोक्ष रूप से जुड़े हैं, वे इस क्विज़ में भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं हैं। यह अयोग्यता उनके निकट संबंधियों पर भी लागू होगी।
13. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same. / आयोजक उन एंट्रीज़ के लिए कोई ज़िम्मेदारी स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे जो खो गई हैं, देर से जमा की है या अधूरी हैं या कंप्यूटर की ग़लती या किसी अन्य त्रुटि के कारण ट्रांसमिट नहीं हुई हैं, जो आयोजक के उचित नियंत्रण के बाहर हैं। कृपया ध्यान दें कि ऐंट्री सबमिट करने का प्रमाण इसकी प्राप्ति का प्रमाण नहीं है।
14. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. This includes the ability to change these terms and conditions, for the avoidance of doubt. Participants are expected to check of the website for all the updates. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियाँ होने पर, माईगव के पास प्रतियोगिता के नियमों और शर्तों में किसी भी समय संशोधन करने या प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है। इसमें संदेह से बचने के लिए इन नियम और शर्तों को बदलने की क्षमता शामिल है। प्रतिभागियों से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वे सभी अपडेट के लिए वेबसाइट देखें।
15. The decision of organizers on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज़ पर आयोजक का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इसके संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
16. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves. / सभी विवाद/कानूनी शिकायतें केवल दिल्ली के अधिकार क्षेत्र के अधीन हैं। इस उद्देश्य के लिए किए गए खर्चे पार्टियों द्वारा खुद वहन किए जाएंगे।
17. By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / क्विज़ में भाग लेने से, प्रतिभागी क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के सभी नियमों और शर्तों का पालन करेंगे, जिसमें कोई भी संशोधन या आगे का अपडेट शामिल है।
18. A single combined result of winners will be issued for both the platforms i.e. MyGov and MyBharat. / MyGov एवं MyBharat दोनों प्लेटफॉर्मों के लिए विजेताओं की एक संयुक्त परिणाम सूची जारी की जाएगी।
